Chlamydia is a common STD. It affects both men and women. Women who ignore the signs of chlamydia are at risk of struggling to become pregnant later. 1. Painful Intercourse
One of the first signs of chlamydia is pain during sex. Women, in particular, seem to experience this. In some cases, a woman may start bleeding after having sex. Although there can be other causes of pain during sex, it is a good idea to get tested for chlamydia and other STDs if you experiencing it. This symptom is caused by the infection spreading from the cervix into the Fallopian tubes.
