Sore Throat
One of the more painful symptoms of measles is the sore throat that accompanies the infection. The throat becomes red and very sensitive. Over the course of a few days, it may become difficult or painful to swallow. When this happens it’s often a sign that it’s time to go and see a doctor. These symptoms are similar to those felt from a strep infection, but one of the notable differences is the appearance of Koplik’s Spots.
