2. Abnormal Periods
A woman’s menstrual cycle can often be a clue to an inability to get pregnant. Typically, a woman’s cycle is around 28 days; however, cycles can be slightly longer or shorter without causing an issue. If a woman has irregular menstrual cycles, meaning that cycles run a different number of days each month, then that may be a sign that the woman will have difficulty getting pregnant. Many women with irregular cycles simply have to be a little more diligent about tracking ovulation, while others may need medical help to achieve pregnancy. Very heavy or very light periods may also point to issues getting pregnant.
