7. Back and Abdominal Pain
Having chlamydia can cause you pain in a few ways. For men, if the infection spreads to the prostate, lower back pain can be excruciating. Women, in particular, can experience pain in their lower stomach. It can feel like menstrual cramps but the timing is usually off. These pains, in addition to other “flu-like” symptoms, can actually be one of the signs of chlamydia.
