9. Eye Infection
Unfortunately, chlamydia is not satisfied with just attacking genitals. If it comes in contact with your eyes, it can lead to conjunctivitis. This is more commonly known as pink eye. It is very contagious. Most commonly, this happens when the hand brings infected genital fluid up to the eye. Like many symptoms, women seem to be more susceptible than men. If a pregnant woman give birth while they have chlamydia, they can give chlamydial conjunctivitis to their newborn.
