Although they aren’t as effective as the other treatments of the disease, over-the-counter medications can cure chlamydia when used the right way in the correct doses. These medications typically are taken just the same as antibiotic medications because they get rid of the infection. Some over-the-counter medications can even be used to prevent future sexually transmitted diseases from occurring.
