Echinacea or Goldenseal, also classified as a plant alkaloid berberine, is a natural alternative medicine that is used as an immune system stimulant. It offers antimicrobial activity against bacteria that cause infections. Echinacea may cure this sexually transmitted disease itself, but it may limit the disease’s side effects and symptoms.
