10 Symptoms of HIV

10. Yeast infections

Yeast infections occur during the later stages of this condition. Some of them include but not limited to thrush, herpes, and Candida. They commonly tend to appear in the mouth, esophagus and genital area. Those white patches on the tongue could be due to thrush. Signs of HIV that is making it difficult to swallow food could be Candida. A further important impact of this virus is an increased tendency of the infection to become more concentrated on one particular part of the body. Other infections can also cause these symptoms to appear. But the experts pointed out that people infected with this virus are more likely to experience the severe form of the above-mentioned symptoms than others due to the lack of a strong immunity system. They also caution people against assuming that it is just another common infection unless they were first examined by a doctor.
