3. Bleeding
Genital warts can cause bleeding. You often see bleeding with intercourse, but if the bumps get rubbed by clothing they can also bleed. Bleeding with intercourse comes from the places being rubbed with friction. The bleeding may cause you to transfer your genital warts to your partner. You can cause your genital warts to bleed if you are scratching them to try to relieve some of the itching.
