10 Symptoms of Syphilis

6. Fever

Fevers and bacterial infections do tend to go together. Since syphilis is bacterial in nature, it is only natural that fever would be one of the more common symptoms of an infection. Unfortunately, a fever on its own can tell a physician very little about the possibility of infection. A sustained fever is always something that should prompt a visit to a doctor, but it’s even more vital if you suspect that you may be infected by the syphilis bacteria.
