6. Pain with Sexual Intercourse
Whenever you have an infection in your body, there are certain areas that might be more sensitive than usual. The genital region can become even more sensitive to pain and sensation after dealing with this infection. You might find that sexual intercourse is painful or has other uncomfortable physical feelings associated with it that you do not usually have. If this happens, see your doctor to determine if this infection is causing your pain.
