Symptoms include:
- Discharge- Unusual discharge can be present. This can be creamy, watery, or have a slight green tint to it.
- Pain- A burning sensation while peeing is a very common symptom
- Frequent Trips to the Bathroom- You may feel the need to pee more often
- Period- Periods can get heavier and spotting between periods may occur
- A sore Throat- Because the disease can manifest in the throat, you may get a sore or scratchy throat.
- Belly pain- Fullness, bloating, and pain can occur in the abdomen
- Fever- A low-grade fever may occur
If you notice any of these symptoms or a variety of them, it is important to schedule and STI test with your doctor right away.
