Symptoms of Gonorrhea in Women

5. So Much Vaginal Discharge

Vaginal discharge before or after their period, due to a yeast infection, or during pregnancy is common in women. Then comes more discharge out of the blue. This bacterial infection causes dysuria or increased discharge in some women, hence the nickname, “The Drip.” It has been mistaken for a yeast infection or even a urinary tract infection. The discharge may be white in color and can be confused with normal vaginal discharge. If it has a greenish appearance, it could be due to gonorrhea.
