Symptoms of Gonorrhea in Women

6. Sex Hurts

Sex is meant to be enjoyed not to be a pain. Pain after sexual intercourse is a major sign that something just isn’t right. It can be a mild discomfort to a sharp, stabbing pain. Inflammation of the tissues in the vagina and around the cervix makes the Lady Parts become sensitive. Friction during sex can further irritate these tissues causing “down there” to hurt. Ouch! Again. In some cases, pain could be accompanied by spotting or bleeding during or after sex.
