10. No Symptoms At All
As with many infections, trichomoniasis can be a silent assassin, just sitting there waiting for a day to rear its ugly head. With the lack of symptoms, it is usually discovered at a pap smear, or when you have a supposed yeast infection. If you suspect you may have this nasty little parasite, then book an appointment with your doctor.
Trichomoniasis is 100% treatable and cured with antibiotics. If you wish to stop yourself from contracting the infection ever again, then tell your sexual partners about it so they can get treated as well. If you don’t take this critical step, you may end up passing it back and forth like a cold.
