6. Sore Throat
Several sexually transmitted conditions can lead to symptoms of STD in throat. These conditions include Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, Syphilis, and HIV. Usually, STDs contracted through oral sex are the cause of oral STD symptoms. Chlamydia can infect the throat during oral sex. It is also possible to contract oral Gonorrhea while performing oral sex. In each case, the symptoms could include a sore throat. Syphilis, when contracted through oral sex, can result in mouth ulcers in the first, second and third stages, and a sore throat in the second stage.
