8. Lower Back Pain
Back pain, especially in the lower region, is a common disorder and therefore often overlooked as a sign of a possible STD. Common causes of back pain include ligament or muscle strain, ruptured disks, osteoporosis, arthritis, and premenstrual syndrome. However, many people do not realize that lower back pain can also be a symptom of pelvic inflammatory disease, which as previously mentioned can be the result of an untreated STD. HSV, better known as herpes, as also been known to result in back pain during outbreaks.
