8 Common Causes of Testicular Pain

4. Spermatic Cysts

An accumulation of sperms may cause cysts – spermatocele- to form at the head of the epididymis, testicle or along the vas deferens. They normally go unnoticed and are often found during procedures for other issues. In some instances, spermatoceles may grow to a few centimeters causing pain and discomfort. When it gets to this point, your testicles may seem to be heavier. Antibiotics may help, but in extreme cases, the cysts may be removed. It is important to note that this condition affects the ability to father children.
