2. Deep Pain

If you have a very acute, deep pain in your arm or leg, you might have a blood clot. More specifically, the blood clot in your arm or leg might be Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT). DVT forms in one of the deep veins in your legs – very rarely in your arms. One of the primary symptoms of DVT in the arm or leg is a deep feeling pain, which makes sense given the blood clots location. If you do have clotting in your limb, the pain might appear in the calf, thigh, arm, or pelvic region. The pain doesn’t necessarily feel deep to indicate that there is a blood clot in your arm or in your leg, so if you feel persistent pain in those regions, you might want to see a doctor.
