7. How Do You Know If You Have Herpes?
You can know if you have herpes if you develop symptoms or get a herpes test. When initially infected some people develop fever, chills, headaches, body aches, or swollen lymph nodes on the neck or under the arm. Cold sores or fever blisters may appear on or in the mouth. Blisters may appear on the genitals in the case of genital herpes. Pain, itching, or tingling may also occur at the site of the infection where sores or blisters will form. A burning sensation during urination, body aches, or a general feeling of weakness is also common.
