4. Swelling Caused by Blood Clot
One of the symptoms of a blood clot in the leg or arm is swelling. This symptom usually accompanies a few others, like redness and sensitivity. If you have swelling in your arm, calf or your thigh, it might be the signs of a blood clot. If your arm or leg experienced trauma, like an injury, the swelling may be a result, but it could also indicate a blood clot. The swelling will vary in size and sensitivity, and there may be a color that accompanies it. As with a lot of signs of clotting, just the swelling on its own may not be enough of an indicator. If you have swelling with redness, pain and/or sensitivity, it might be a blood clot.
