9. Bleeding and Blood Clots
When you bleed internally, bruises or hematomas form, and those can indicate a blood clot in the leg or arm. However, you can also bleed externally. Though bleeding, when isolated, might not mean blood clot, it can be helpful when you examine them with other symptoms. If you are experiencing blood clots during your period, blood clots in your stool, or blood clots in your urine, you should talk to your doctor right away. Bleeding is not a guarantee that you have a clot, because you could have a myriad of other conditions affecting you, but it could indicate that you are physically prone to developing clots.
