10. Is it Curable?
If you’re wondering if there’s a cure, you’ll be disappointed to know that there is no cure for this viral infection. Once you’re infected with either type 1 or type 2, or both virus types, you’re stuck with it. You can make changes in your diet and lifestyle to help prevent an outbreak, however. Herpes is no joke and finding out you have it can be worrisome. However, it’s not life-threatening and can be treated if symptoms develop. You just can’t get rid of it!
